Digon Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Digon Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<BR>Regular monitoring of kidney function tests, potassium, magnesium and calcium levels is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Digon Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Digon Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Digon is a cardiac glycoside. It works by correcting irregular heartbeat to a normal rhythm and increases the force with which the heart muscle contracts with every heartbeat. This makes the heart pump more efficiently and increases blood circulation throughout the body.
Heart failure occurs when muscle does not able to pump blood as it is required.
