D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of depression. This medicine helps by increasing the level of chemical messengers in the brain that have a calming effect on the brain and relax the nerves, thus treating your depression.
D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms.
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER.
D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER can cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
D-Venizep 100 Tablet ER is a combination of two medicines: Desvenlafaxine and Clonazepam. Desvenlafaxine is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) which works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline), natural substances in the brain that help maintain mental balance. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
