Introduction to Cyclopan D Eye Drop

It is a combination medication used for eye care, used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye before an eye examination. It can also relieve eye pain in certain eye conditions.

It contains two medicines, Cyclopentolate and Dexamethasone. Cyclopentolate enlarges the pupil to aid in eye examinations and may reduce eye pain. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that can prevent allergic reactions and inflammation in the eye.

How Cyclopan D Eye Drop works

Cyclopan D Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Cyclopentolate and Dexamethasone which relieve eye pain. Cyclopentolate is used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. It may also be used to reduce pain in certain eye conditions. Dexamethasone belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. It prevents late phase allergic reactions by preventing release of chemicals responsible for allergy.

How To Use Cyclopan D Eye Drop

  • This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
