Introduction to Cipladine 7.5% Solution 100ml

  • It is an antiseptic and disinfectant agent containing Povidone iodine and is used to treat and prevent infection in cuts, minor burns, and abrasions. 
  • It controls the growth of harmful microbes by killing them and preventing infection in the affected area.
  • It is also used prior to surgery to reduce the microbial load of the skin.
  • It is a broad-spectrum antiseptic and is effective against a wide range of infection-causing microbes. 

How Cipladine 7.5% Solution 100ml works

Povidone iodine inhibits the growth of infection-causing microbes by penetrating micro-organisms and oxidizing essential proteins, nucleotides, and fatty acid resulting to the death of cells.

How To Use Cipladine 7.5% Solution 100ml

  • Rinse the affected area with plain water. Pat dry with a clean cloth.
  • Take a small amount of Betadine 10% Solution on a cotton ball and apply it to the affected area.
  • Let the area air dry for some time.
  • When dry, cover it with a sterile gauze or dressing.
  • Ask your doctor how often you must repeat the application.
  • Discontinue use if you notice irritation or an allergic reaction.
  • Cipladine 7.5% Solution 100ml is meant for external use and must be applied topically on the skin.
