How Catrab 20mg Injection works

It inhibits the proton pump in the stomach lining. Due to this, the production of stomach acid decreases and it gets relieved from peptic ulcers and esophagitis (swelling in the stomach).

  • Kindly do not self administer.

Catrab decreases the calcium absorption leading to calcium deficiency, and increases the risk of bone fractures of hip, wrist or spine. Can I take alcohol with Catrab?

No, alcohol intake is not advised with Catrab. Alcohol itself does not affect the working of Catrab, but it can increase the acid production. This may further cause worsening of your symptoms.
