Never use a bottle if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time. Make sure you remove contact lenses if you wear them and wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back.

The most common side effects of this medicine include conjunctival hyperemia and eye itching. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor. Carelash Ophthalmic Solution is a prostaglandin analogue. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor, thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

How To Use Carelash Ophthalmic Solution

  • This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Does Carelash work on eyebrows?

No, Carelash is not made for the growth of eyebrows. This medicine is used to treat hypotrichosis (less than normal amount of hair) of the eyelashes. It promotes the growth of longer, thicker and darker eyelashes.

What happens if I stop using Carelash?

If you stop using Carelash, the eyelashes may return to their previous appearance after several weeks or months. In case you have developed any eyelid skin darkening, it may reverse after several weeks or months. However, any change in the color of the iris is permanent and will not reverse.

If you have to use other eye drops, wait for at least 5 minutes before using them. You should inform your doctor if you are using any other medicine too as it may interfere with the working of Carelash.
