How Bus-Q New Tablet works

Bromhexine is a mucolytic agent which loosens and thin mucus in the Airways and makes it easier to cough up and clear. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant which assists to remove out mucus from the respiratory tract Phenylephrine reduces inflammation in the nose passages, making it easier to breathe. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that opens up the blocked nose by narrowing small blood vessels. Chlorpheniramine inhibits histamine, which relieves allergy symptoms such as sneezing and itching. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that stops the body from making histamine during an allergic reaction. Paracetamol is an antipyretic and a pain reliever. It inhibits several chemical messengers from the brain responsible for the sensation of pain and cause inflammation.

  • The dose recommended by the doctor should be taken as per the time prescribed by the doctor
  • This medicine can be taken before or after eating food, but take it at a same time every day

Yes, use of Bus-Q New Tablet should be avoided if you have high blood pressure (hypertension), any underlying serious heart condition or cardiovascular disorder, any history of stomach ulcers or overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism). However, it can be taken if advised by the doctor. The use of this medicine should also be avoided if you are taking antidepressant drugs. These drugs, called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), may include phenelzine and isocarboxazid or tricyclic antidepressants like imipramine and amitriptyline. This medicine is preferably avoided in pregnant women especially in the first 3 months of pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are planning to become pregnant.
