Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult with their doctor before taking it. Avoid drinking alcohol as it can cause excessive drowsiness with this medicine. How Broxy 250mg/4mg Tablet works
Broxy 250mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Bromhexine which treat respiratory tract infections associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Amoxycillin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Bromhexine enhances the antibacterial effect of Amoxycillin.
How To Use Broxy 250mg/4mg Tablet
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Broxy 250mg/4mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
