How Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT works

Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT is a combination of two medicines: Amoxycillin and Bromhexine which treat respiratory tract infections associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Amoxycillin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Bromhexine enhances the antibacterial effect of Amoxycillin.

How To Use Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT

  • Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Bromolin 125 mg/4 mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
