Azimax 500mg Injection is a medication that contains Azithromycin, an antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections. 

  • These infections include bronchitis; pneumonia; sexually transmitted diseases (STD); and infections of the ears, lungs, sinuses, skin, throat, and reproductive organs.
  • Besides treating infections, it is also used to treat or prevent spreading Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) infection [a type of lung infection that often affects people with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)].
