It contains Acetazolamide. Acetazolamide is used to treat glaucoma, certain types of seizures, and altitude sickness, and to manage fluid retention associated with certain medical conditions.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol.
It may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

It may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
It should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.
It should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.
Avva 250mg Tablet SR is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It works in glaucoma by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
Glaucoma: A condition where increased pressure in the eye can lead to vision loss. Epilepsy: A neurological disorder marked by recurring seizures. Altitude Sickness: A condition caused by reduced oxygen levels at high altitudes, leading to symptoms like headache, nausea, and dizziness. Edema: Swelling due to fluid retention, often caused by heart or kidney problems.
