Artificial Tears BP Eye Drop is usually taken when needed. Use the number of drops as advised by your doctor. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering any other medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Do not use a bottle if the seal is broken before you open it. Always wash your hands and do not touch the end of the dropper. This could infect your eye. This medicine may require long-term use and can be taken safely for as long as you need it.

The most common side effects of using this medicine are blurred or altered vision, and sometimes pain in the eye. Let your doctor know if you experience these symptoms but they are usually temporary. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires clear vision until you are sure you can do it safely. This medicine is not likely to affect or be affected by other medicines you use but tell your doctor if you have ever had glaucoma. Do not use it while wearing soft contact lenses and talk to your doctor if you develop an eye infection while using it.

Artificial Tears BP Eye Drop is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.

How To Use Artificial Tears BP Eye Drop 10ml

  • This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

How should Artificial Tears be used?

If you are using it for dry eyes, instil 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed. If you are using it to lubricate soft and rigid gas-permeable lenses, apply 1 to 2 drops to each eye with the lenses on as needed or as directed by your doctor. Blink several times after pouring the drops. Consult your doctor if you are not sure.

Is Artificial Tears effective?

Artificial Tears is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Artificial Tears too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.

How should Artificial Tears be stored?

Store at or below 25°C and out of the reach of children. Do not touch the tip of the container to any surface or eye(s), Replace the cap after every use. Remember not to use the eye drops after the expiry date or after 30 days of opening it.
