This is a combination medicine containing Atenolol and Amlodipine. Atenolol is a beta-1 adrenergic blocker that inhibits sympathetic stimulation by reducing heart rate and cardiac output, which leads to a drop in blood pressure and reduces oxygen demand in the heart muscle. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that causes vasodilation by inhibiting the entry of calcium ions into heart cells and vascular smooth muscles, reducing blood pressure, and reducing oxygen demand in the heart muscles.
