Akudin T 5mg/1.5mg Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Timolol and Brimonidine. Timolol is a beta blocker while Brimonidine is a sympathomimetic. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
Akudin T 5mg/1.5mg Eye Drop should not be used by patients who are hypersensitive to Timolol, Brimonidine or any of its constituents. This medicine should be avoided in patients who have airway disease, lung disease or heart disease. This medicine should not be used in children who are 2 years old or younger.
Wash your hands before applying Akudin T 5mg/1.5mg Eye Drop to avoid contamination, and do not touch the tip of the dropper. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using Akudin T 5mg/1.5mg Eye Drop. For applying Akudin T 5mg/1.5mg Eye Drop, tilt your head back, look up, and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch and then put the drops in the pouch.
