  • It is an anti-allergic medicine which is used to treat allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, stuffy nose, and watery eyes.
  • It is also used in the treatment of some common allergic conditions are hay fever, food allergies, and asthma.
  • This syrup contains a combination of two active ingredients, Levocetirizine and Montelukast.

 

How Montas L 10mg/5mg Tablet 10s works

It has a combination of two drugs namely, Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Levocetirizine works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which is responsible for allergic reactions like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast blocks another messenger (leukotriene) which reduces swelling in the airways. Together they relieve allergic symptoms and aids respiration.
