Patients with liver conditions should use Metocard T Tablet cautiously. Regular liver function tests may be necessary during treatment.
Use cautiously in patients with kidney impairment. Regular monitoring of kidney function is recommended.
Avoid alcohol consumption, as it may amplify side effects like dizziness or drowsiness.
Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience dizziness, fatigue, or blurred vision after taking Metocard T Tablet.
Metocard T Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it may harm the fetus. Consult your doctor for alternatives.
Avoid using Metocard T Tablet while breastfeeding, as Metoprolol and Telmisartan may pass into breast milk. Consult your doctor for guidance.
Metocard T Tablet combines two antihypertensive agents. Metoprolol Succinate, reduces the workload on the heart by slowing the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels. Telmisartan blocks the angiotensin II hormone, preventing blood vessel constriction and promoting relaxation. Together, they effectively lower high blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications.
Hypertension occurs when the force of blood against the walls of blood vessels is consistently too high, potentially leading to heart disease, stroke, or kidney problems.
