The medicine treats vertigo (dizziness) associated with ear problems like Meniere's syndrome or any other ear-related issue.
It should be used cautiously in liver patients; dose adjustment may be required.

It is a vestibular suppressant that shows its activity by suppressing the vestibular apparatus present in the inner ear by blocking the H1 receptors and providing relief from the symptoms of vertigo. The drug shows its action within 30 minutes. The medicine also blocks the activity of dopamine which is responsible for developing the sensations of nausea and vomiting by activating the voting centre in the brain.
