Introduction to Tazact 4.5gm Injection

It is an intravenous injection combination of Tazobactam and Piperacillin and is used to treat different bacterial infections by preventing the growth of bacteria. 

Piperacillin is a penicillin antibiotic whereas Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor and enhances piperacillin's effectiveness. 

How Tazact 4.5gm Injection works

Piperacillin is a penicillin group's antibiotic and inhibits the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, causing bacterial death. Tazobactam inhibits the production of beta-lactamase enzymes by bacteria to resist antibiotics and enhance the activity of Piperacillin.
