Sprot Plus 400 mg/500 mg/100 mg Tablet is taken with food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. How Sprot Plus 400 mg/500 mg/100 mg Tablet works

Sprot Plus 400 mg/500 mg/100 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Metronidazole, diloxanide and simethicone. Metronidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Diloxanide is combined with metronidazole in case of severe intestinal infections. Diloxanide is a luminal amoebicide which acts inside the intestines to kill the infection-causing microorganisms (amoeba). Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
