Maxtra P DS Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Maxtra P DS Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Maxtra P DS Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Maxtra P DS Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Chlorpheniramine Maleate works by blocking histamine action that causes allergic symptoms in the body. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen blocks the production of enzymes in the brain that help to block the pain nerve impulses. Phenylephrine refers to the sympathomimetic drug that mimics the epinephrine action or norepinephrine. It binds with alpha-adrenergic receptors selectively that is responsible for the arterial and venous vasoconstriction.
