Linaxa M 500mg/5mg Tablet XR is an anti diabetic medication used to treat high blood sugar level in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
This medication prevent serious complication like blindness, kidney damage and reduce risk of stroke and heart attack.
It should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of medicine may be required. Please consult your doctor.

Taking it during breast feeding might be unsafe. Consult your doctor before taking it.

Consuming alcohol with it is unsafe, as it can affect blood sugar level.
It may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Avoid driving if these symptoms occur.
It control blood sugar by increasing insulin level and decreasing sugar production in the liver. Linagliptin reduce glucose production and increase insulin release. Metformin reduce glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity.
Use medicine as you remember to take.
If next dose is near than Skip the missed Dose.
Do not double up for the missed Dose.
If you miss dose frequently than consult your Doctor.
