A constituent present named Methyl salicylate has counter-irritant action aids relieving discomfort in the affected area. Another constituent; Menthol provides a cooling effect on the affected area. Linseed oil (Oleum Lini) as an anti-inflammatory agent contains alpha-linolenic acid which reduces inflammation and soothes pain when applied to the skin. Benzyl Alcohol acts as an antiseptic and preservative, preventing bacterial growth and preserving the formulation. This combination is effective in relieving muscle and joint discomfort.
