Daclahep 60mg Tablet is an antiviral medication. It is used along with other medications for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. It works by lowering a load of hepatitis C virus in the body and removing the virus from the blood over a period of time.
Daclafab 60mg Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
It has fewer side effects as compared to other similar medicines, like fatigue, headache, nausea, insomnia (difficulty sleeping) and anemia (low red blood cell count). Inform your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Daclafab 60mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Daclafab 60mg Tablet is recommended.
Daclahep 60mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Daclahep 60mg Tablet is recommended.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Daclahep 60mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
It is not known whether Daclahep 60mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Daclahep 60mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Daclahep 60mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
