Aquatears Eye Drop

Polyvinyl alcohol eye drops are also known as artificial tears. They are used to relieve eye dryness and soreness, particularly where the dryness is caused by a reduced flow of tears. They moisten, soothe and lubricate the surface of your eye, making it feel more comfortable.

Aqua tears can be used as an ocular lubricant to provide relief of burning and irritation caused due to dryness of the eye and may be used as a protectant against further irritation.

Tears substitute for the symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe dry eye, including keratoconjunctivitis sicca. Instill 1 or 2 drops into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) as needed, up to once every 1-2 hours or as prescribed by the physician. These drops may be used by both adults and children.

Artificial tears are eyedrops used to lubricate dry eyes and help maintain moisture on the outer surface of your eyes. Such eyedrops may be used to treat dry eyes that result from aging, certain medications, a medical condition, eye surgery or environmental factors, such as smoky or windy conditions.

Some people significantly overuse artificial tears eye drops, causing them to wash away their natural tears. Prolonged use and/or overuse can cause a dependency on the drops to soothe and moisturize the eyes, as well as protect delicate eye layers. Use OTC eye drops only as directed by the packaging or your doctor.

It acts as artificial tears to help ease dryness and soreness associated with dry eye conditions. Tears Plus Eye Drop is beneficial for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye conditions. Eye drop is also suitable for comforting irritated, dry and tired eyes and is also effective in-eye re-wetting of contact lenses.
